Welcome to Optioneer!

To get started work through each article in turn. Each module will take up to 30 minutes to complete. The advanced training builds on the general training so please complete that first. If at any point you need help, or have questions about Optioneer, please get in contact with us.

General Training

When you have completed the general training, you will be able to set up a project, develop centrelines, analyse the results, iterate on results and present and report on options. The modules are as follows:

  1. Introduction and General Use

    1. Basic Operations

    2. Tips for General Use

  2. Evaluation Mode

    1. Creating a Basic Configuration

  3. Analysing Results

    1. Option Comparison

    2. Option Analysis

    3. Additional Features for Analysis

  4. Iterating on Results

  5. Exporting Results

Advanced Training

The advanced training modules will give you the tools you need to automatically generate corridors based on constraints and technical considerations. It will also show you how to carry out sensitivity analysis and configure more advanced design rules. The modules are as follows:

  1. Constraint Classifications

  2. Generation Mode

  3. Configuring other Design Rules

Below is a generic workflow diagram for a project carried out in Optioneer. General training provides you with tools to carry out everything from analysis onwards, and the iteration of these results. Advanced training provides you with the tools to carry out the steps leading up to the automatic generation of routes. For the input of geospatial data, please get in contact with our team!
